Events & Functions at Bigbury Golf Club

We are very fortunate here at Bigbury Golf Club to have one of the most popular venues in Devon for functions & weddings, thanks largely to our magnificent 360° views out to sea and over Burgh Island, the meandering Avon Estuary, the moorlands of Dartmoor.

We have 2 areas within our Clubhouse that can accomodate almost any request; from weddings, birthdays and business functions, to even having your own marque on site and arriving in style by helicopter on our own landing site.

If you are planning on having a small or large event why not speak to us. We can accomodate for celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries and wedding parties for up to 65 guests seated or, 100 guests with a buffet style meal within our Clubhouse - which has a fully licensed bar.

Our marque venue is a fantastic backdrop to any event, particulary the stunning scenery which we make use of for your special day photographs - there is plenty of scope to create a wedding venue which really suits your plans for your day. 

We also have in excess of 100 free car parking spaces.

We are located in the enviable South Hams with 360° views out to sea, Burgh Island and along the stunning Avon Estuary. We can also offer you breathtaking views for your special day photographs.  

We can accomodate 65 guests seated or 100 guests with a buffet style menu. If you are planning a larger gathering, why not take advantage of our facilities and have your own marquee on our site. We can even supply you with the bar and kitchen too.           

With extensive experience and specialising in weddings, our Catering Manager Maggs will be happy to discuss menu options with you and your drink/wine options can be arranged with Annie - our House Manager.
